• Have you updated all the drivers in the Computer inclusive of Chipset? If not, I suggest that you do the same through Device Manager.

In case updating the drivers do not work, then I suggest you to download Windows 10 Webcam drivers from the manufacturer's website and install them. If Windows 10 drivers are unavailable, I suggest that you download and install the Windows 7/8/8.1 drivers from the manufacturer's website using compatibility mode as mentioned in the following article and check if it helps:

thanks for the help.

Still not working.

I downloaded all the upgrades and installed Chipset Windows 7 (the only ones available) as recommended from toshiba web site.

When my pc was windows 7 everything worked fine. since the upgrade at win 10 i lost the camera

Anyway how can I get the same drivers working as they were on win 7?

I bought an external camera (Trust webcam), drivers installed but still doesn't work.

It always reports that the camera is busy with another app or softwares, like skype, do not recognize any.

How is that possible?

Hello,

I request you to try installing the driver in compatibility mode.

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.
2. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
3. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists
